Tahoma 31 derived its name from the native word, Tahoma, which means frozen water. It shows exceptional winter hardiness by testing 75% more cold weather tolerant than other bermudagrass. Because of the additional characteristics of improved wear tolerance and drought resistance, Tahoma 31 bermudagrass is ideal for sports turf, golf courses, and high-quality lawns in the Mid-Atlantic & Transition Zone.
